The Wooly Ravyn is a small business I started after moving from Tx to Tn. I
have been knitting since 2020. Here at The Wooly Ravyn I offer knitting classes, custom made knitted items, and yarn crafting supplies like various yarns, knitting supplies and crochet supplies. I also handmake knitted items to sell on the site and at craft fairs. These items include baby blankets, scarves, gloves, hats, and more. I believe in supporting local fiber artists and local indie or hand yarn dyers.
Here at The Wooly Ravyn we strive to provide a rich and friendly atmosphere both in person and online that fosters learning from others, a place that provides a comfortable environment for yarn crafters to socialize, a delightful place to make new friends and a
place to sell the items I knit.
Our Story
I have my MBA with specializations in operations and logistics. I also served in the US Navy as a Corpsman and CPhT. This means that every handmade knitted item I make you get attention to detail and high standards. I have also worked retail for various stores over the years.
I am a 100% disabled Veteran. I needed a way to supplement my monthly income due to cost of living. Thus The Wooly Ravyn was born out of necessity and from a love of knitting. I want to foster that love of knitting in others.
I suffer from fibromyalgia and a few other health issues that make knitting a daily challenge. Instead of letting it get me down, I meet it where I am and thru persevering.
